The details you give us — your name, contact details and account information; the bookings you make and the messages you send to organizations on NepTrail; and basic device and usage data that helps us run and improve the service.

To provide the service: to take and manage your bookings, connect you with the organization you book, verify organizations, provide support, keep the platform safe, and meet our legal obligations. We don’t sell your personal information.

Payments are processed through licensed payment providers and Nepal’s bank gateway. We don’t store your full card details; the payment provider handles that under its own security standards.

Conversations between travellers and organizations happen on NepTrail. To protect both sides and enforce our policies, we may review messages for safety and, where needed, hide contact details shared to move a booking off-platform. Keeping the conversation here is what lets us stand behind your booking.

With the organization you book (so they can host your experience); with service providers who help us operate (such as payment and hosting providers) under appropriate safeguards; and where required by law or to protect the safety of our users. That’s it.

You can access and update your account information at any time, and opt out of marketing messages. To request a copy of your data or its deletion, contact us and we’ll help, subject to records we must keep for legal and financial reasons.
